Features
Yes! GriDDown is offline-first. All core features work via local mesh networking, Bluetooth, and cached data. No cell towers or internet required.
SHTF (Situation Has Totally Failed) Mode unlocks emergency-only features: distress beacons, mandatory location sharing, emergency protocols, and bypasses normal privacy settings for maximum coordination.
Yes! Import OpenStreetMap tiles, satellite imagery, or custom geospatial data. We recommend pre-caching offline maps for your area before an emergency.
Pricing
No. GriDDown is a one-time purchase. Your emergency coordination shouldn't depend on payment servers being online.
We offer a 14-day trial with full features. Test everything, run drills with your family, then decide.

Technical
All data is stored locally and encrypted. Self-hosted means you own your data. We never see your location, contacts, or emergency plans.

The backend is open-core. Basic self-hosting is free. Advanced features and priority support are available for sponsors.
